We should remember Charlie Kirk and hope that the assassin faces justice. But let us also crush Antifa and any enablers. Finally let's strike at those who created the climate of hate and the blood dancers. If they committed a crime, like incitement, arrest them. If there was no crime, shun them.

The Robinsons were very MAGA, if anything Kirk was a victim of his own narrative success.

It’s been confirmed that despite his family being right wing, the shooter was very left wing. Your statement is disgusting.

While I personally don’t believe in political violence, Charlie did and advocated for it. He called for evil people to be executed in front of children. You could say that that was his dying wish. As for the Robinsons, check the Guardian as they retracted their interview about him being left.

Disgusting lying response, Charlie never advocated for political violence.

The bullet casings literally read “Catch this, fascist” and “bella ciao”, both of which are obvious leftist tropes. From The Times:

“The bullet engravings and Robinson’s political views

The markings on the bullets found by the authorities indicated that the suspect was steeped in online culture and included references to the Antifa, or the anti-fascist, movement. Antifa is a loose collection of far-left activists who have been active in the US over the past decade, at street protests and other events.” And “A former high school friend of Robinson told The Guardian that the suspect was “pretty left on everything” and “the only member of his family that was really leftist”. “The rest of his family was very hard Republican,” the friend said.”

Charlie famously said, “When we stop talking, that is when the violence starts”

Sit down.

C’mon guy. Don’t think saying such nonsense is going to help you. Try to learn a real and ideally difficult and needed skill and maybe you’ll do better. You’re competing with far more accomplished defectives.

Don’t you think a more honorable job would be one that fought prejudice and leveled the playing field. Playing for the other team is not the way you will feel good when it’s time to leave the earth.

Here's a few blood-thirsty quotes:

"There is no First Amendment without a Second Amendment. You can't pick and choose your freedoms. You either have freedoms, or you don't ... Once you give up your freedoms, do not expect to get them back ... Freedom must be protected."

UNLESS I'M MISTAKEN, THERE IS NO GENERAL AGREEMENT ON WHAT THE 1st AMENDMENT MEANS. THREATENING DEATH IS ALLOWED.

“You will never live in a society, when you have an armed citizenry, and you won't have a single gun death. That's nonsense, it's drivel. But I think it's worth it. I think it's worth to have a cost of unfortunately some gun deaths every single year, so that we can have 2nd amendment to protect our other God given rights. That is a prudent deal. It is rational.”

Murder rates are a tiny fraction in the EU compared to the USA. Are we just more evil?

People say he didn't advocate violence. A pure and simple dodge. He spoke in conditional code that left it wide open to anyone to interpret how and when their "Freedom must be protected". Our current president openly advocates violence and death against his political opponents and has even before he stepped into the presidency. I never heard of any disagreement from Kirk.

Here's a beauty:

"Death penalties should be public, should be quick, it should be televised. I think at a certain age, it's an initiation...What age should you start to see public executions?"

Charlatan Kirk was an unmitigated evil presence. I don’t wish death on almost anyone, but I certainly don’t mourn anyone who thinks death is a means to political end.

Charlie Kirk, a staunch Christian conservative, once dismissed the slaughter of strangers as a tragic but necessary price of freedom. “I think it’s worth it,” he said, “to have, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God-given rights.”

Those words dripped with the smugness of someone who believed he’d never be among the casualties. For men like Kirk, death is for the anonymous, the expendable, the “statistics.” It is a chillingly casual calculus. Some people must die. Faceless. Nameless. And conveniently out of sight so that the myth of American gun liberty can march on untouched.

Thank you very much for this post. I always learn something and what to read next when I read this weekly round-up. Now, I'm wondering why the Trump administration would take money away from the Office of the US Trade Representative. We need more people in that office!! I respected the previous US Trade Representative, Katherine Tai and maybe she should be a member of the Trade office now. She resisted attempts to cancel the tariffs Biden imposed on China, which took guts. She's tough and smart.

I also thought Robert Lighthizer would be Trade Representative, but it looks like Jamieson Greer is doing a good job. I read Oren's essay in the New York Times and it's right on! Trump is good at tearing things down that need to be torn down, but now it's time to build!!! I hope he can and will. September 3, 2025, Oren Cass "This Is the Moment We Find Out if Trump Is for Real":

"It’s the next stage, however, that will define Mr. Trump’s legacy: Can he and his administration move past the demolition, clear the debris and, well, build back better?

The pain imposed thus far has been intentional, is proving tolerable and will be well worth the cost if it helps to move the economy and various national institutions onto a stronger long-term trajectory. But without follow-through the nation will see the pain without much gain. Does he have the will to pursue his promise of a new golden age for American workers and their families?

It always amuses me when people treat Trump as if he has any objective but his self-aggrandizement and wealth building/grabbing.

I was around the guy long before he came down that escalator and before Michael Cohen learned his lessons. I saw him get humiliated repeatedly and ostracized. Through Durst’s mother’s companion I got the lowdown on how much they were appalled by him. And any decent New Yorker was sickened and revolted by his stints on the original Howard Stern show. It says something horrific about Americans that he’s been twice elevated to the land’s highest office after praising and permitting the Jan. 6 riot and casually letting Pence possibly be killed… The guy is an unrivaled human dumpster fire.

You cannot be serious when you say “nobody on your side rejoiced”. If you can stomach it check the @LibsofTilTok “Top 10” lost.

You picked this fight with a nasty response to a perfectly reasonable and innocuous comment. Can you see what that reveals about your lack of character and civility? You are a poster boy for TDS Rage. Your mind and personality have been warped by anger, rage in fact. I actually think you're capable of murder. Am I right? Tell me what you would like to do to Trump.

People like you and his assassin proved his point: that the woke, TDS Rager mind virus has made freedom of speech a capital offense.

Now he faces a firing squad, so the punishment will fit the crime.

Except for one thing: mercifully, Charlie never knew what hit him.

BTW, the assassin had a transitioning transgender love in lover, which in my view means his gay. Contrary to your clueless and classless assertion, I am not. This is yet another example of your appealing ignorance and disregard for the truth.

Are you homophobic? Why else would you make such an insinuation?

The fact is I had only an en passant familiarity with Charlie the post-assassination publicity. As he said, “They tried to bury us, but they didn't realize we were seeds.”

His martyrdom has taken out one of the biggest and most diabolical TDS Ragers, Jimmy Kimmel, following the footsteps down the walk of loser shame Stevie Colbert. In death, Christlike, Charlie will triumph over “your side”. How does that make you feel?

For people of faith like Charlie and me, death has no sting. How about you?

I hope someday while there’s still time you will experience the transformative revelation that “your side” is the wrong side—the side of homicidal rage, self-loathing, and immorality—it’s a nihilistic death cult, advocating death for its ideological adversaries, its unborn, and in fact its entire society and culture.

I will pray for you, because that's what Christians do for fellow children of God whose souls have been captured by evil, hate, spite, and willful ignorance, a fate that yours has tragically suffered.

It is challenging to discern the spark of divinity in you and your fellow TDS Ragers. The hate in your hearts killed Charlie. You should examine your conscience. I don't think you will like what you find there any more than I do, but I will pray for you anyway, because that's what Christians do for those who trespass against them.

Well, throwing around memes like "TDS Ragers" is pretty lightweight. I was barely aware of the guy (since I'm not in the cult) when the shooting happened. I did subsequently look at his writing. Appalling things this guy wrote. Let me know if you would like the samples. Of course, no hate for the guy, just appalled at his views, as I am by that orange guy he worships... who I have had the misfortune of being around him on the old Howard Stern show and twice in the same room. Amazing how defective so many Americans are that they can listen to the Orange Demon's words. I thought they would be better, Guess not.

Were you in love or something? It was a horrific act and insane. No one on my side rejoiced in it except for the few nutters we share with your mass of them. It accomplished nothing except give folks like you a reason to get even more enraged. It accomplished nothing for us and unlike your Orange Fuehrer and his incitements, you seem ok with his constant appeals for violence. He is the problem for you and Charlie. I'll have to go back and listen to Kirk, but in the liberal press they generally say he wasn't a vile spewer like the Orange one is. Listen to your guy and tell me what you think of his rhetoric. And his profiteering off the office. And Jan 6. violence. I'm here to listen. And go back and listen to the old Howard Stern radio tapes of Trump back then. As they say: plus ca change, plus ca reste la meme.
