Thanks for something positive about the U.S. Lately, we’re hearing way too much from the socialist wing of the Democratic Party about how awful everything is here. As far as I’m concerned, there’s no place like home.
Yeah, Canadian concept of self is "not American ". This is unhealthy and prevents them from developing a culture of their own. Contrast with Mexico. They may be "so far from God and so close to the United States " as President Diaz said but they are a people with their own culture and history which is BTW older than the US.
