Ive been lucky enough to backpack throughout SE Asia; Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam are not “ripping us off”. Another Great Depression would lower our trade deficit. Small businesses don’t get carve outs so this tactic just leads to crony capitalism and corruption.
By the way why isn’t our massive trade surplus in services ever part of the discussion? We have a great economy and country so we should not be gaslighted about how everyone takes advantage of us.
